Learn Gelli Plate Printing
Gelli plate printing is a wonderful way to create colourful designs on a variety of surfaces, such as paper, card, and textiles.
Gelli plate printing is similar to mono-printing, but instead of using a glass printing surface, you use a gelatin plate. It is a soft texture but durable and re-usable. The difference with the gelatin plate is that the paint lifts onto your paper or material very easily and quickly, and the effects can be amazing.
I use acrylic paints and emulsions with hand made stencils and stamps, but the possibilities are endless.
